Team is led by Lakshmi J. Nair, the Director and Senior Consultant of Ayurlife Pte Ltd. She is a renowned and highly skilled Ayurveda Physician and has helped over a thousand patients recover naturally. Graduated from the Government College of Ayurveda in Trivandrum, Kerala in the year 2000. Started her professional training soon after and has been a full-time Physician since 2002. She worked as an Ayurveda Physician at an Ayurveda Clinic in Bangalore till 2004 but then has been in Singapore ever since. Has worked at various Ayurvedic clinics in Singapore for the past 14 years before taking on the ownership of Ayurlife. Specializes in treatment programs for stress management and skin diseases.
THERAPIES
- Abhyangam : It means the application of oil and is a full-body therapy using warm medicated oil. Abhyangam is practised daily for an energetic and long life span.
- Shirodhara : Shiro means head and Dhara means pouring. Shirodhara involves gently pouring medicated oil over the centre of the forehead in a continuous manner.
- Thakradhara : It is a traditional ayurvedic procedure wherein a stream of buttermilk is poured onto the affected body part.
- Shiro Abhyanga : This incredible hair and scalp treatment is performed with scented herbal oil. Which nourish the hair, relax the mind and release tension in the head, neck and upper back area.
- Nasyam : Nasyam cleanses, purifies and strengthens the nasal passages, allowing you to breathe easily again.
- Podikizhi : Full body therapy using kizhis dipped in warm medicated oil but can be done with or without oil.
- Physio veda : Physio-Veda is a form of treatment that combines Ayurvedic treatments and Physiotherapy.
- Lepanam : Application of medicated herbal paste on affected parts of the body. It is prepared by blending medicinal herbs and liquids according to the condition of the patient.
- Sirovasti : It is an efficient treatment for brain and neurological treatments. Such as depression, migraine and other psychosomatic diseases.
- Njavarakizhi : Njavara is a kind of rice that is specific to Kerala, India. It has a lot of medicinal values and is applied in a similar way to podikizhi.

Ottamooli is a word in the Malayalam language which means “Single Ingredient”. Now coming to the site name, we just named it as a synonym of the person who prescribes Ottamooli as Ottamoolist. Based on traditional wisdom mixed with the Ayurveda treatment method, Ottamooli is the home-cure or folk-cure practice of medicine.
